My Rachie

My oldest daughter not so patiently waiting for our ride. I was so proud of her we rode for over 4 miles and she would not quit and didnt complain a bit even though she had never ridden that far.
And a big thanks to mommy for not being mad because we were gone forever and making a yummy breakfast when we got home. I realize that i am truely blessed in ways i dont even realize. I have my children and my wife, we have a roof over our heads, food in the pantry, clothes on our backs (some of us more than others :) ) and jobs which is so much more than most of the world has. If i am thirsty i can walk across the room to the fridge and get cold water and ice from the door. For all the blessings i give thanks to the lord

Photobucket

Well if the Tour de Cure taught me anything its that i am Fat and Lazy. There is no good reason for me not to do something to excersise and get back into shape. havign said that while Jason and i were riding along the Canadian county countryside we came up with the plan to ride at least once a week. There are a ton of trails around the OKC metro one jsut up the street from Post 41 and down the street from PSCC (public safety communications center). So i will post a schedule of when i plan to ride hopefully a month in advance. Any suggestions, comments concerns, Anybody want to come and ride wheather your on the bike team or not. Any kind of bike is welcome drop me a line or give me a call

On the Clock: Nursing Homes

I stumbled upon this blog today and with the week we have had here (multiple ped deaths and abuse) it reminds me that for all our progress over the past 24 years that i have been riding the truck that this is one of the areas that we have done nothing to improve and nobody seems to care.
